In the Spring of 2006, Oyvind Holm got in touch from Norway. Formerly the lead singer of The Dipsomaniacs, he'd released a solo album and recently set up a new band, Deleted Waveform Gatherings. Oyvind had picked up a copy of Among the Dead in a record store, and had liked it so much that he felt inspired to write a song about it. That song is Emily Barratt's Dead from the band's debut album, Complicated View.
